50:1 for virtually all outboards

My 1984 Evenrude 25hp is 100:1.

Doesn't it say on the motor somewhere?

Maybe you can email Evenrude. I am sure they will help you.

They did try to go 100:1 for awhile back then, and some engines still have the sticker on them but it did not work out. The engines lifespan got unacceptably low and they had alot of warranty problems so they soon went back to 50:1. They also did a recall on their 100:1 accumix fuel tank.
50:1 is the way to go for everything except maybe some very old antiques or special racing outboards

Yamaha still uses 100:1 mix ratio for all their 2 strokes. I think they have a good track record for reliability.

They may say they do but I've seen otherwise, most yamaha owners run them at 50:1 anyway
