Fish TV problem

Well i made it out twice this weekend on two different bodies of water and brought my Fish TV both times.....and both times it didn't work properly! I am not too sure if anyone has had this happen to them before but here it goes.

It was working great in the house on friday night, and then on saturday morning at the BOQ as soon as i put the camera down the hole and turned it on the screen flashed and only displayed on about a third of the screen. and you could make out what you were looking at.

then i looked at it again this morning it worked fine, so i thought the batteries could have been cold or something. so after a short drive to long island locks along the rideau i tired it again....and same thing.

this is the third time i have used it and i am not impressed...

any suggestions?
