I just found one of my bunk boards is broken
The brake is right at the point where the boat makes contact when getting her onto the trailer.
So once I replace this bunk I will need to re-inforce it at this point.
Anyone know of a place in and around Ottawa that may carry this for boats?

The bunk is probably made to bend a bit as the boat goes onto the trailer, if you reinforce it it might bend the boat instead??
Not sure if this makes sense but my thoughts.

bunks,
Hi
1) maybe you need to put the trailer a bit further in the water so you are not hitting the bunks too hard.
2) There may be a major knot in the wood right there and that is why it broke
3) Just buy some pressure treated wood, 2x8 if it fits around your keels and then just add outdoor carpet.
Good luck
Super
