Boat parking ideas?

So, I bought a boat that will no longer fit in my house in Barrhaven. My previous boat was the same length (about 18') and I had left it in the driveway. The pain was that the driveway had a slope toward the street, so when the boat was parked the bow was way below the stern (if any water got it, it wouldn't drain out the stern). My trailer jack, even when extended to the max, would not be high enough to get the boat even level.

With my new boat, I'll be in the same predicament. I have the option of parking it to the side of my house (allowed by by-law in nepean). I can park it on the grass but am concerned it will sink into the ground (3000 lbs boat package), so I was thinking of making a parking pad of either gravel / stone or gravel covered with one of those new plastic "porous" systems (that actually allow grass to grow, but give you a flat, hard surface).

So, any advice out there for:

1. Deal with that slant in my driveway; or
2. Experience with making parking pads for their boat (note I do not want to go concrete slab - too permanent)

My boat is always parked on my grass. I just put a 12" square patio stone under my trailer jack wheel to prevent sinking into the ground. Do you have any info, brand name on these plastic porous systems you mentioned, sound interesting?

The porous system is called PG45, made by Green Innovations. They carry it (or can order it) at Home Hardware. Model is "PG45 Green", store code 5010-140. From what I heard, its $11.99 per panel (2' x 2').

I would just use patio stones as well stick a few under the tires and one under the jack and to should be good to go

And if u don't like the look of patio stones get some stepping stones. They look pretty nice

Had a 20 X 12 tempo shelter and patio stones for 3 years then I built a garage

Thanks all for the suggestions. Patio stones / stepping stones sounds like the easiest and lowest cost solution for sure...

The boat will be covered but still not super fond of the nose of the boat slanting downward.

I actually have a double garage but its way too short for an 18 foot boat (even at an angle) and of the style that its in front of the house (so I can't extend the garage - argh....). Tempo is a possibility and I was actually thinking of a carport longterm...
