I've got a 16' Princecraft Holiday DLX that has a couple of popped rivets on the bottom of the hull. I've replaced rivets before but this situation is a little different. The rivets are on side (seam) guard. I tried to hammer the guard back flush with the hull but it is pretty heavy duty aluminum and I didn't make any progress. It probably needs to be heated up and bent back in but I don't want to attempt that.
Any ideas or places you can recommend for this type of repair?

Re: Aluminum boat repair
Sent you a PM. I would not recommend heating this up yourself but there may be others who can help out.
Check your PM for some other details that may help you at least find someone a little more knowledgeable on what could possibly be done to fix this.

Works for me.
I've heard it's pretty simple to play here. Try to imagine that. I've found some awesome how-to guide. There nothing else like this site

I got in touch with them and it wasn't something they wanted to do. Maybe too small a job. I found a place out towards Carp that may be able to do the job. Boat should be back in the driveway in a few weeks so I'll be able to get the floor out and ready to be worked on.

Another option....they did a similar size job on my tin boat...they even fixed another spot requiring repair at no extra charge

Fish To Live - thanks for the heads up. Marcs Marine did the repair on my boat this week. they did a heavy duty repair job at a very reasonable price.
