Post by G-loomis »

I was thinking of getting a jon boat for me and a buddy we both are 250 pounds each and was thinking on a 10' riveted jon now will this sink us because it said Max Load- 300 and with a trolling motor and a 4 horse power motor on it, do you think it would go good or plow throgh the water.

mmmmmmmmmm just what part of over-loaded are you not sure on ? lol
I think you guys had better go with somthing a little bit bigger.
Probably the 14 to 16 ft. would be more to your liking and weight carrying capacity
I f you stay small ...... be sure to wear your pfd's

Just my .02 worth good luck in finding the right boat for you.
