My trailer is not preped to mount my spare tire.
Is there a kit I could buy that would allow me to mount my spare tire to the trailer?
Has anyone made a spare tire mount that they would be willing to share with me?
Thanks in advance.
Help with mounting spare tire to trailer please
Jay..there are brackets at CT for about 30-40 bucks...do yourself a favour and get a piece of threaded rod and 2 small peices of flatstock steel/aluminium.
Drill 2 holes in each og the steel that line up with the holes in rim. Place threaded rod through the flatstock then up through the bolt holes on rim and through 2nd peice of steel. A couple of nuts on top and your done.
Does this make sense to you, if not pm me and I'll explain it a little better.
total cost = less that 10 bucks
