heres the trouble this time ..... went to fire it up for the first time this year and it " bearly" turns over with the plugs in so i pulled them (2) and it cranks great, i took compresson and get 120 psi from both ..... i think about right

I'm stumped, but before the rig gets sold or brought into the shop any suggestions

The Bear is getting GRUMPY

In case anyones interested, maybe something that will come up for you.

Loads of talk at work today about possibilities, came down to bushing problem in the starter, was asked several times about the battery, it was fully charged up, but are all the cells good :( , put a booster pack on it this evening and man
looks like a dead cell or 2, time for a battery
hundred better than a couple G's :?

Nothing more frustrating then when the outboard will not run.

Glad you got it sorted out.

I was going to suggest the battery was suspect. Wth or without the plugs in it still should turn over the engine. Many times a battery can charge to full but you can still have a problem. A load test can sort these things out as well as having the specific gravity checked....Larry
