:D I've been in this industry for over 20 years and Laurentian uses Marc Marine. No offense to them but DON"T send them a stainless prop. They don't know what they are doing. If it is aluminum then sure but they are cheaper because they are not as experienced. Boys you get what you pay for. I use a prop shop in the Kawartha's because they give you what you want. And if it is not right they will redo it until it is right. All my props get sent there, they are picked up on Monday and delivered the following Monday. All my bass boat guys use this service and it works quite well. The only time it doesn't is when the customer does not have a spare prop.
That's the only advantage to MM is that they can get it back to you RUSHED if you want. Also the quality of repairs was also low so I did not like to use them but was forced to by the management. If someone came in with a ss prop I would strongly advise them to take it elsewhere if the boys up front were going to send it to MM. Don't like to put comments like this BUT like I said you get what you pay for and cheaper is cheaper.

:D It's just TOO expensive for a marine dealership in this area to repair props on site, THEY ALL SEND THEM OUT and most use MM in this area to get them back FAST AND CHEAP. If it's aluminum most prop shops won't screw it up BUT IF IT"S SS there aren't many that I am going to trust with a $700 piece of SS. Once it's screwed up bad enough it CAN"T be fixed. Meaning if they haven't done ALOT of SS or don't have they testimonials to prove their expertise, DON"T WASTE YOUR MONEY. Get a spare prop and have the damaged one sent out and fixed PROPERLY, NOT FAST AND CHEAP>
Anybody can hit a prop with a hammer on the pitch blocks but it takes a skilled pro man to know how to cup each prop.

Hi Joco, Next time you're in Wendover stop in & see Andre Lalonde, he fixed my aluminum prop - a great job at a fair price.
