Will all transom mount trolling motors allow you to rotate the head so they can be used on the bow?

The rotaton will be limited by the power wires.

You should be able to rotate the head without any problem. I've done it with a number of Minnkota motors where I've converted the transom mount to go on the front of my boat at the cottage. All I've come across is either a pin or a bolt on the inside of the head that has to be removed...turn the head piece around and reinsert. Too easy.

As Lunker Larry says, it's easy to turn the "TOP" of the unit. I did it last year .

The biggest problem I had was getting a bracket to mount it properly on the bow. If this is your intent, make sure you get the longest shaft you can find

Here's a link from last summer ...... might help

Looks like I misunderstood the question. I was imagining a temporary bow mount where you would turn the head.

I am thinking about seeing my local certified Minn Kota guy to have him reverse the head permanently so I can run it from the front.
