I'll be in the market for a bow mount trolling motor here as soon as I get my boat done( which I'm starting today! ), wondering where the best place is to pick one up? I was just going to go to Canadian Tire where I can use my over $100 in Cdn tire money...... has anyone ever bought one from Bass Pro? How do their prices compare?...
Thanks

Hey I'm in same boat and have been checking around all winter.
Basspro prices are higher than anywhere I have checked except they have motors in stock at least one I was looking at.
I have checked lebarons and two of the site sponsers, and with my lebaron card which was $25 you get 7% off.
For same motor Lebaron was cheaper than everyone.
But I'm sure one of site sponsers would match lebaron with 7% off price.
Thats what I'm going to try any way.
Lebaron was cheaper than cdn tire before discount.
Good luck!

I see in this weeks Canadian tire flyer that the Minn Kota Power drive 40lb and 55lb bowmounts are $100 off! This is very tempting!!!!! Think I should get it?... I was just going to go with the 40lb.... seems pretty good @ $419.99..... what do you guys think... should I bite the bullet and get it and be done with it?.......

yes, 40lbs would be lots, 55lb would be nice, but would it not have less running time on 12 volts?.... I only have a 16ft basic aluminum boat with custom front and rear casting decks ( also aluminum).

I would reccomend Paddletales.
