Oil on my driveway

Post by Eli »

Came home today to find a slight oil drip coming out of the lower unit - propeller junction. After a bit of reading on the matter, I'm faced with some contradicting info.

So...my question to the guys who know a lot more about this stuff than I do is, is this something that I should have looked at ASAP or can it wait until end of season winterizing?

Thanks :)

When you say propeller junction... do you mean the exhaust?

If so is it a 2stroke? Where you idling or trolling a lot at the end of the day... could just be extra oil build up driping out of the exhaust.

If its actually coming from the lower end... I say get it fixed.
