Well it seems that my parents have taken up as a retirement hobby, Great Lakes Freighter watching. As part of this hobby they are interested in acquiring a VHF radio to monitor the radio traffic (similar to a police scanner). Can anyone recommend a good (value for the money) portible/rechargable VHF radio?
