I'm looking for a bigger boat about 18.5' to 20'.
Which one is more reliable, starcraft or crestliner?

ford or chev? Its really a matter of warranty and function. I myself just bought a large boat this past spring. I looked at all brands and for me it was a Canadian made Legend that I felt was the boat for me. The 18 Xcal has a life time hull warranty and is all welded. Good luck shopping
If I had to pick .... crestliner

I work at a marina that sells Smokercraft (same company as Starcraft) and Crestliner boats. It all comes down to do you want a welded or Rivetted boat. Both companies stand behind their product very well and they are both very durable. The one draw back with Crestliner is that you are limitted to only having a Mercury since it is a Brunswick company. With Smoker, Sylvan or Starcraft you can have them rigged with Yamaha, Etec, Merc or Honda.
I have found that the fit and finish on the Crestliners is not as nice as the others.
Let me know if you have any questions.
Thanks

will always be

It will outperform a Smokercraft, etc in rough water and that is where they shine. Also the resale price is much better because of the manufacturing process. I always found them to be a first class boat with the same allure as a Princecraft.
Definitely my pick Crestliner final answer
