I spent about 10 minutes searching but not sure of the terms to use, so if this is somewhere already please go easy on me...but I did search first!!

I just bought a new to me Legend Widebody and the wiring harness enclosure that has all the switches on the front of the enclosure for the live well, nav lights and fish finder is broken. The old one looks like a home made rig up, but plastic is not my specialty :?

Is there some place or does anyone know what a good method to rig something up to keep these wires dry?

I tried princess auto but did not find anything that would suit

The box is 4" deep x 4" high x 7" long
4 switches on the front
so basically i need some sort of waterproof box that has no front on it so I can install this switch plate. Guess I would silicone the seems after I got the front plate installed???

Any insight would be great!!!

thanks

If you are looking to keep the wires organized and dry then I would recommend using Shrink Tubing. Slide all your wires into the tube and heat it up lightly with a small butane torch or lighter.
this will keep the wires organized and dry.

I hope this was the info you are looking for.

I will post a picture when I get home
I like the shrink wrap idea for sure but there is a little more to it I think.....
You will see what I mean after I post the picture

I used to put the wiring in a plastice conduit they sell in automotive stores i.e, NAPA, comes in rolls and using tie wraps that you are able to screw to gunnel will secure all the wires along the gunnel and out of the way... It might solve your problem

Don't seal the battery box air tight as it needs to vents the gases that build up form charging... I think that is what you are trying to do as well... :D
You could get a piece of aluminum stock to attach to the side or back of the boat for your switches ...

I thought from Legend that I was going to get a brand new one but as it turns out the nav lights and live well we dealer installed and not factory installed so Legend does not have the enclosure I am needing for the electronics. Maybe some one who is handy with plastic can build it for me and I will pay them or someone can point in a direction of where I can find something like this. I was going to post a picture but the enclosure is in really rough shape so I just took it all apart and have it kinda jimmy rigged in a tupper ware container and a plastic bag......real ghetto looking I must say. So any help would be great.

cheers
