Hey guys.
I seem to be having a sonar issue? My LCX-25 is losing its signal. Im getting a flashing depth reading? Once and while it seems to pick up the signal and work fine. I thought maybe that the transducer angle needed to be adjusted. So I took the boat out and as I went for a swim I decided to try adjusting the angle. Doing so gave me a small shock. So much that it hurt my hand to hold the transducer? Im thinking there is a short some place. GPS is working fine? I should metion that I have turned off everything else in the boat and while drifting the unit does the same?
Is it time to purchase a new transducer?
