1968 Evinrude problem
My brother had my 18hp tuned up by a shop in Luskville. Took it camping and fishing on the week end. Took 20 min to get started. once it was started it ran about as fast as my 2hp. I had no power at all. Took it back to the shop.First it was the wrong spark plugs and now they are saying its the stator. My question is would a bad stator and wrong plugs cause the extreme lack of power? Thanks.
