I have difficulty to start my motor sometimes. It used to start quickly after one key turn. Now it gets tougher and tougher.
I always choke it at begining. It's OK in summer. I can start it after a few times tries. Well, I use it once a week.
The motor startes well most times on lake. However, after I stop using it for long time, I have trouble to start it. Sometimes I have to deep choke it, or use booster.
Now is summer. I can't imagine how it will be in fall or winter.
What should I do? change fuel line, or clean carb, or....
Motor couldn't start smoothly
Sounds like the problem I had with my two stroke. You didn't mention what kind of motor you have but here's a article that you might want to check out just in case.

If your using regular gas, it's a good chance it has a ethanol additive. This might not be your problem but it certainly sounds exactly what happened to me. I was using my boat very infrequently and started to have troubles. You might want to consider adding a stabilizer.
Good luck.

You haven't said what year your motor is. If it's an older one you might want to check the gas lines and fuel bulb. They are inexpensive to replace and will eliminate those as a source of problem. Hairline cracks in the fuel line can be hard to see. A can of engine tuner [there are various brands is also easy and inexpensive and may help the problem]. They are
widely used in the marine industry for starting/running problems. They are also used as a preventative nature every few years.
