deep cylce
If it's a deep cycle battery lead acid or AGM which I these are then a deep cycle battery charger will do, it but I will check....
The difference between optima and other batteries is the way they are made. Optima are wrapped instead of just the normal straight up style of cells.
The only issue I have with Optima is the for my purposes was the fact they have fewer recharge cycles and they less runnig time than a conventional plate deep cycle of the same series....check the specs and you will see this..when I was looking for deep cycles for my boat I first looked at Optima but becasue of the specs I went with the conventional deep cycle. They are sold in Canada through Interstate which I retail....

Promariner pro Sport 20 sold by BassPro or Cabellas (rebranded under their own name) $225.00 approximately The Chanderly in Ottawa has them also.
Obviously you will need at least a 2 bank 20 amp They are available in 1,2,3 bank (battery). These chargers have a mechanical selection thingy for different battery types. I like the idea of the distributed charging technology that ProMariner uses.
I have customers using about 20 of these for a few years, only had one warranty failure which Promariner (in the States) replaced without any hassles.
I use a 3 bank 20 amp one on my boat with charging an AGM battery for the starting (same type as the ones you are using) and 2 two regular (flooded cells) deep cycle for the trolling motor.
