Hi there;
I am looking at buying a fairly inexpensive fish finder... do any of you have any suggestions on which type or model and where would have a good price either online or store? I'm in ottawa.
Thanks

I would first identify what you your specific needs are.
How often am I going to to fish?
Are you going to fish in the winter?
Are you actually looking for fish or just needing the depth?
Sometimes the real expensive units are not needed.....
Answer these questions to your self then take a drive to see Ed @ Paddletales., he post on this forum and is one of the most knowledgeable guys on this subject
You can also check out Lebarons ..yes Lebarons their pricing is very comparable to the big stores in the US.
Just my 2 cents.

The Humminbird Piranha portable fishfinders work very well. They cost about $130-160.
