Anybody know if one of those canadian tire solar panel chargers will keep a trolling motor battery charged? Are they any good?

I have one in my boat and it seems to keep my deep-cycle battery at around 12V pretty well with almost constant use of the LCD. I don't use my trolling motor that much, but have noticed when I do it takes the solar panel quite a while to get the charge back up to the 12V area. I guess tha major advantage I've seen for me is that it allows me to go longer between times I have to pull the battery from the boat and take it up to the cottage for a re-charge.

I don't think that this is very healthy for the battery. It should be fully charged after each use. 12V is not full charge. (12.6V to 12.8V is full charge for 12V battery)

No,what i mean is while im out on the water. Not to charge a battery, but to prevent one from going dead on the water.
