Just picked up a used trailer to haul the duck boat around.

Id like to make some trailer guides. I seen a nice DIY project that was made up of a ladder stabilizer and some 2" PCV pipe. I cant seem to find these ladder stabilizers at any of the hardware stores around here.

Im sure there are lots of DIY guides on trailers out there. So give me some ideas guys.

Home Depot in Orleans had them in stock last month, believe they are sold as "STAND-OFF ARMS":

How bigs your boat?
Just run a length of PVC under the back of the frame, attach with long u bolts.
I used 2-60 degree connectors(matched the angle of my boat) and then the uprights.
Glue them together, cheap, simple and plenty strong.
My boats a C1652V,with a 40hp,guides are plenty ridgit.
