Ice flasher battery protection

Post by hook&shoot »

Greetings,
It seemed like a good day to throw this out.... Anyone have any tricks or gadgets they use to help either extend the life of the day use of their flashers battery on some of those less than plesant days of icefishing? As well as protecting it from potential freezing ? I do about 80 % of my hardwater angling outside a cozy shelter.

If it's a half decent battery it should last all day. Just make sure to let the battery reach room temperature before recharging it.
When hell freezes over, I'll be there icefishing!!!

That is good to know...Going to go out this winter with my first finder/flasher and was wondering if I should do that.

Thanks Dan! :D
