Can somebody tell me where I can find a mini tach for a small outboard, 30 hp.

Can a small car tach work and how do you install them?

They have som mini tachometer at CT but will they work?

Thanks

Looks like the specific model is TT2C for two cylinder

"...2C can also be used on 2 cylinder engines where the cylinders fire 1X per revolution."

Install is quite easy!

"..1 Antenna cable winds around your spark plug wire to give you the RPM reading – clean and simple to attach. Signal strength can be controlled by the antenna wire."

Hi,

Tiny tachs are great and work ok, we use them in racing all the time, they have fixed the refresh issue on the newer models. You are best to call there tech support and tell them which motor you have so they can give you the proper number for your motor.

They have specific tachs for certain Mercs etc, installation is as posted very easy ground and signal. You can order them direct from Tiny Tach or there is a disty in Toronto I usually order about three a year for customers.
