Boat cleaner...

Post by Fishtraks »

Here's a question for the gurus out there. I have an aluminum 14' Legend. The bottom (from the chines down) is not painted and is considerably stained. I'm reluctant to use a pressure washer to clean it as I'm afraid it will mess with the rivets. Is this a valid concern? So what would be a good product to clean the bottom with. I don't particularly want something that you clean 2 square inches at a time with either. How is ALUMA-BRITE?....any comments would be appreciated....regards...fishtraks.

Pressure washer won't bother the rivets. I would use a cleaner, start with "Mr Clean" and if that doesn't work, use Comet and a rag.

The best boat cleaner is called "wife".
