Are you happy with the srvice at your Marina?

Post by bl8ant »

I am looking for a new marina to service my boat and possibly have it stored there in the off season. Closer to Ottawa the better.

If you are happy with the service you receive at your Marina please share that with me and help me find a place that will care for my boat as much as I do.
:D
Hope this is the right section

I have been with Long Island Marina for several years now. Get my boat serviced and winter storage. They treat me like family and the mechanic is most likely reading this thread.

They are in Kars and know me by name.

I do have one thing to say. My boat is newer and still under warranty so I cannot get my motor repaired by them yet but they do winterize it and stand behind what they do. I have recommended other fish-hawkers and they have been happy with them.

MLS in Franktown, very pleased. Good pricing, great service, good angling talk, and he stores on site if you need it.

after going thru a few of them and also witnessing the angst that my friends went thru with several other boat dealers, mechanics, etc, I finally found a good dealer I'm happy with....and that being Rockland Marine in rockland/cumberland. Friendly service and have yet to dissappoint.
Primarily a small Merc, Evinrude and Johnson dealer that enjoys repeat customer business. Tel# 613-446-5445.

Never had a problem with the one I use. Great service all the time. www.dickplummer.ca Probably too far for you if you are in Ottawa.

I second the dick plummer marine in pembroke vote!! These guys are amazing!! I live east of ottawa and have all my work done by them.. A little customer service goes a long way...
What other dealer gives you a courtesy call to see if all is well? and actually remembers your name after the sale!! Small town mentality big city service!!
Highly recommend!!

The one I purchased from has sadly closed their doors. They were awesome. Dk Dodds in Manotick. I wish them all well.

Any suggestions on a good Honda dealership? I prefer the small family run spots. I hear the one on HWY 15 near Carleton Place is good. Blacks Corner Motorsports. Does anyone have any experiences with them?
