Hey all,

I was wondering what is the difference betweed and 55lbs and a 70lbs electric motor??

Is it top speed or torque, since torques is usually calculated in lbs...

thanks in advance

It's actually neither of the 2. Thrust is the abillity to move an object. Thrust is motor torque applied to a prop to create movement. I think, though I maybe wrong, 50lb thrust will accellerate an object of 50lb mass at 1ms^2. Why do you ask?

General rule for boats, 55lb - up to 16' boat. 16' to 18' okay with 80lb. Over 18' or heavy boat, 100lb. Check with the MK site for more on choice selection.

good website that might help
