What the heck are navionics?
Fishing is a heritage we need to teach. Take a kid fishing! And take me too while you're at it.

At this time, Navionics only sells apps on iPhones and some Droid's or Android phones. There is no plan for blackberry phones that I know of.

Thanks for your reply! Nice to see you guys paying attention on Fish Hawk!

Too bad about not supporting BB, nor planning on supporting BB. Rather short sighted to not support such a HUGE market segment.

Why does Garmin support Black Berry and not Navionics?

Craig-

Not supporting blackberry has nothing to do with being short sighted. We would love to pay attention to that market. But, I must admit first that I am not a techy or a computer guy so I would guess it is a technological reason as opposed to supporting one phone vs the other. It could just be because our data sets used to make our maps are not supoorted by Blackberry. Not sure on that but it makes sense. We are fully aware of the number of blackberry users and if we could, I am sure we would.

I do travel extensively so monitoring boards is tough but I want to change how my predecessor payed attention to the Canadian market. I will be at the Toronto Boat show so please stop by and say hello. Maybe by then I will have more Blackberry info for you all.
