I have a small 2" crack on my fiberglass boat and was wondering if any one has tried to do a repair job in these cooler temperature. Would using short or long strand bondo mix work as a temp patch until spring when it could be fixed properly. The other thing I was wondering is there anyone in the area that does fiberglass repair. Open to suggestions and thoughts

Thanks John

you can repair that small crack with short strand fiberglass. (filler type).
need to open it up a lil-bit with grinder at 45degrees in each side and fill it. I have repaired holes size of my hand, with full fiberglass matt layers with alum. foil etc.. but i had access to the hole from both inside and outside. need to read up on this if you have never done it before. You can finish it off with gelcoat (brushed then after & buff it).

believe hurst marina does fiberglass repairs, not sure about the cost.
