Johnson V4 120hp Tuning Help

I'm looking for somebody to help tune my 1996 Johnson 120hp V4 motor.
The motor runs strong when I'm hard on the throttle and up on plane but it just won't idle. It is also very hard to start. I've heard that this is a normal thing for these motors but it just don't seem right to me. I had it tuned by a marina in the east end but they didn't really make it much better. I always run premium fuel with lots of fuel stabilizer to keep the fuel healthy. I've also tried a couple of cans of Seafoam to try to clean out any junk that might be built up. No such luck.
I'm not expecting this help for free. I just want to enjoy the fishing without having to worry about the boat starting when we're ready to head home for the day.
It's also a little embarrassing when my nice shinny bass boat stalls trying to get it onto the trailer. Not too cool and I'm sure it's frustrating for the people waiting for me to get out of their way so they can get out on the water.
Thanks for the help/advice.
