glue/sealant for boat locker gaskets

The rubber seals around each of my storage bins are comming off. I re-glued them last summer with an adhesive glue/sealant but the heat over the summer softened the sealant and lost its hold.
does anyone know of a good glue/sealant to use for this application?
Also, I'm looking for a good carpet cleaner solution to remove oil/grease stains. again, any advise/help as to where to buy and how to remove the stain would be appreciated.
