I've recently purchased a 1986 Johnson outboard. It's in very good condition but I know I will eventually have to buy parts for it. I was wondering where in the Ottawa area (east end preferably) would be a good place to buy parts. I also like the online method but sometimes shipping costs are prohibitive. If someone knows of a good website where shipping is free in Canada or cheap it would be greatly appreciated.
thanks
Guy

Contact the local shops and ask if they can get parts for your engine.jcjgbigras wrote:I've recently purchased a 1986 Johnson outboard. Although they are not in the East end, Laurentian is a good place to start.
They can usually find the parts you are looking for.

Not to take away from our site sponsors, but l'entrpot marine in the east end of Gatineau has served me well. They also have a captains club, where you get an additional discount, and their sales are really very good.

This place has served me well, its by the dump on Carp rd, in a little industrial park - AIM Marine Inc. The guy can get any part you need, has reasonable prices and will often have the parts on-hand.
