I am building a go-kart with my son and he would really like it to be fully electric!

I have fixed several trolling motors in the past and know that the electronics, controls and seals tend to be what dies on them... not the motor itself. I also know that they have a pretty good torque profile which should push a go-kart pretty well.

If you have a trolling motor that isn't working which you want to get rid of, preferably 50lb force or higher, any voltage, please let me know!

I will post photos of the project as it progresses.

If you want advice on how to fix your own trolling motor, let me know as I have learned several tricks that got mine (and my friends) up and running reliably again.

Try J & S Service centre in Blackburn Hamelet. I don't have their number offhand, but they are a Minn Kota service depot. They may have a few.
