Looking for something for next summer

Hello, I'm wondering where some of you dock your boats for the summer? I live in a condo in barrhaven and cant store my boat on site so I store it in my friends driveway but it's a bit of a nuisance. I know you can rent dock slips at petrie island, port of call, etc. Just wondering 9f some more decent prices in ottawa and or within an hour west of ottawa. It's a 14 foot fiberglass.

Depends where you want to fish and what body of water you want to be on.
I can tell you from experience that the Marinas on Big Rideau (Rideau Ferry and Portland) are in the 1400-1600 range - that is for a 20 ft pontoon.
White lake Marina seems pretty dang reasonable. 595 +tax for the season. https://www.whitelakemarina.ca/rate-sheet.html
A quick look around at the lake's marinas and campgrounds should give you some pretty good ideas.
I considered a campground, but my issue with that is that kids tend to wander around the docks and I really didn't need that headache.
Good luck.
Bill

The price on white lake is decent but limited as to where you can go. I am interested in black donald/centennial lake but haven't found anything yet

Have you considered paying far less for secure parking for your ride somewhere west of Ottawa? That still leaves you the option to fish anywhere you want depending on preferred species, weather and time of year. Plus you'll never have to worry what happened to your boat after that major storm came through. CP would be a good west hub for example, or more north towards Renfrew if that's the area you want to fish the most.

Cheers

I had my boat at white Lake Marina for four years. I loved it there. the location was on a narrow part of the lake. The only reason I left was because we bought a trailer on another lake. Great fishing and it is a huge lake. Big enough that it never seemed busy to me.
Good luck
