Hello just installed another short rod holder track on the back deck of my boat so I can run a rod "down the shoot" when trolling. I have had the same type of tracks on my boat gunnels for several years. My boat gunnels are narrow and slightly curved so common mounting tracks such as the Cannon or Bert Tracks did not work on my gunnels. The tracks I use are aluminum gear tracks made my Yak Attack, designed for kayaks. I use Scotty Orca rod holders (with adapter bases) and Cannon aluminum tube rod holders, that I modified the bases, in the tracks.
Just thought I would share in case someone with a similar boat might be interested.
Just modified a Down-East Salty rod holder for muskie trolling so it fits in my gunnel tracks and is removable. Just need to add a second one and go fishing to give them a try.

What track is that in the base you mounted the salty rod holder too
That is my old boat. The tracks are made by YakAttack designed for kayaks, solid aluminum I used them for almost 10 years. My boat gunnels were too narrow to use the 4" standard Bert's or Cannon tracks. These Yakattack tracks are less than 2" wide. I got a different boat with wider gunnels that came with Bert's tracks, so I actually have the tracks pictured for sale.
