Help with 2 single day trips

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

Help with 2 single day trips

Post by Jeebus »

So I have 9 days of vacation coming up in the second week of September. I can only get 2 days to get out on the lakes, as family will be taking all the rest of my time.

So here is my question if you could make 2 single day trip within 2ish hours of toronto where would you go?

I am looking for one suggestion for quantity and one for quality. We would like to target Bass, Walleye, Muskie and or Pike and we will also have to be able to rent a boat as I am not an owner yet. Any help or advise would be greatly appreciated.

Lake Couchiching or Skugog are both good options and have boat rentals. I personally prefer Couchiching because it's a nice lake to jump out of the boat and take a swim with your topless girlfriend... er, there's nice bass :)
