Thanks to Fish-Hawk and Bobber

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

Thanks to Fish-Hawk and Bobber

Post by ClementClan »

We've been visiting this website for two years and finally registered online earlier this year. Being new at walleye fishing, we were anxious to meet more experienced fishermen and learn from them. We were quite embarrassed to bring our little boat and motor because we were aware that it wasn't big enough to get us out past the cement factory quickly, let alone go as far as you guys did!

Many thanks to Fish-Hawk and Bobber for taking us out on their boats. We certainly enjoyed ourselves! Even though we didn't get to spend the entire day out on the water like some of the rest of you guys, we were fortunate and thankful for having had the chance at all and we learned some valuable lessons. We got to watch Fish-Hawk learn how to use planer boards and actually succeed in catching fish! We really enjoyed the seminars and want to thank all who prepared the great food. We certainly can't complain about anything. Mike (Clem0076) and Steve (Obsessed Angler) are really hooked on walleye fishing now ... not to mention fast boats! As for me, I'm still learning and enjoy just being out on the water. If I catch anything, I get excited ... if I don't .... well, we just won't go there!

This site has brought together a great bunch of people who have at least one thing in common .... you all enjoy (or should I say are obsessed) with fishing. This is just what we were looking for. Hopefully you will allow us to become part of this group as well, even if we are the newbies and we look forward to chatting with you (and learning from you) over the next year.

We hope to get the opportunity to do this again. Hopefully next time we will have a bigger motor and be able to keep up with you guys!

The time and effort Fish-Hawk and Bobber put into this website and organizing these great weekends is tremendous and we want to thank them for all their hard work and dedication.

Cheers!

Lise, Steve, and Mike,

It was a pleasure to meet you all and I'm so glad you came this weekend. Hopefully you learned some new things to take back with you and can apply in your own local ponds and rivers. As far as newbies are concerned....there's no problem there. Heck......I'm new to this type of fishing, and so is Fishhawk. Newbies better be welcome, otherwise Fishhawk and Bobber will have to find another website to go to.

You folks are already members and I look forward to seeing more posts. Steve tells me he's gonna show me how to catch fish in Shirley's Bay. I look forward to it. Perhaps he can teach me something new. I never stop learning.....I don't think anyone does.

Until then.....it's time to Musky fish.

I would have to say that this picture stands as evidence that you are one of us.

Although I am not sure what it means to be one of us. It's not like we are a club and require registration followed up with a hazing ritual. We're just a bunch of people that go fishing.

So here is the evidence that you fish.

It was a pleasure helping you gather your evidence Lise.
