A good Day of fishing!!

Spent the day at Petrie today, Met up with Joco, Kodiak, kodiak's friend(sorry can't remember the name), Bradford, ratsotail, then Tip Up showed up, fished Crappy bay and it seems like we all caught enough for a good feed , some more than others!!!! Then just before going after walleyes, Lucky4 and Little Cleo showed up to try for crappies for there first time, and they did good, Little Cleo lost one right at the hole, It was huge!!!!, they caught a bit of everything, some crappies, Bluegills, and saw one Pumkinseed. I'm sure that they had a good feed tonite, Then we went to Pickerel Bay met Ransome, Bucketmouth and Nighttroller there, Kodiak pulled a nice wally on his Crappy rod it was a good fight, it was cool to see the fish thru the ice.

Maybe I don't know how to fillet the Crappies properly. because I could probably fillet 5 wallys in the time, I fillet one crappy .

It was nice to see all hawktalkers

Hi Dan

Sorry I didn't get down today....but I had to take Julia X-Mas Shopping, but I did manage to pick up two more Ice rods and reels

I'm Glad to see Little Cleo and Lucky4 made it out...I was expecting them Saturday, Topwater and I enjoyed being out with a few Hawkers Saturday. I'm glad to see your new purchase of a Vex is paying off for you...see you on the ice soon

You're right Wally, it was a great week-end...

Caught crappy all day, and caught some eyes in the pm. I'll post that pic on here once you send it to me, sent you a PM with email address.

What was it that Little Cleo lost at the hole, a crappie or something toothy?

Little Cleo lost a huge crappy at the hole, he would've had to be folded in half to go thru that 8"hole!!!

its was a nice weekend,,,,,,,,,,,good fishing saturday and sunday,,not great friday,,,,,but sill fun,,,,,,,,

it was nice to meeth you guys again,,,,,,,,wallyboss,kodiak,is friend,ratsotail,big-o, jazman,ransome,bucketmouth,nightroller,bradford,jig head,
and saw coyote and canard frome far away i think,,,,,,,,,,and meeth for the first time on ice,,,lunkerlarry,,,,,

,it was very nice to meeth you guys again,,,,,,,

caught tons off crappy, 2 nice pike,,,,,,,,no walleye for me,,,

.....but the guys did catch some...

but that one kodiak caught was a realy nice,one,,,,,,,,,,will post picture,,,,in soon futur,,,,.

kodiak sher had the spot last night,,,,,,,,,,did you put an X on the ice kodiak,,,

...and yep we forgot to chek the pump again,,,,

I like to think of it as Luck of the Auger! lol...

It was a great time, nice to be out... Wallyboss should send me the pic tonight, and I'll get it posted tomorrow.

Now I gotta hit up some pike...

I think that's what I'll be doing Friday... oh I love my compressed days...

yes it was jig head,,,,,,,,,( jig head,was quiet,did not talk mutch,,,,,he was to concentrate to get those crappies,,,

Walleye Bay is not usually somewhere I do very well... but that Vex, it's helping me jig alot by helping me with patience... Love it.

Let me know before you go to the nation, depending on when, maybe I'll join yah, it's close to home.

Yup I had a great out on the bay! Its was nice to meet a bunch of new people and had a ball of fun with little cleo and lucky4 nearing the end of the day! Heading back out friday if anyone cares to join?
