all but the last one came from Hamilton Bay, the worlds best carp fishing.
the last came from Stoney lake in the Kawartha's.
Two 30 plus pounders and Two 20 plus pounders.
Carp are fun.
Dont get caught up in the fancy gear. As you can see, buzzers, pods, and silly gimmicks are not necessary for big carp. The first one, a fellow came from England....and i took him out.
He had only caught an 18 pounder....he had all his fancy gear, but i told him to leave it on shore....

Has anybody seen the X-ray of the carp fisherman who's weight sprung back and hit him in the eye socket and dislodged his eye , shattering his cheekbone , coming to rest just blow his right nasal passage

Ummhmm Steve...you can take me out carp cough cough...bass fishing anytime in Hamilton Harbour. I grew up in the area. 
...actually I wanted to ask if carp fishing is difficult in a boat when you are anchored and the wind is blowing. Wouldn't your bait be moving all over the place?

your bait doesn't have to be still to catch carp....
most times our worms are being moved all around bottom...
actually, the big fish from the bay, was caught drifting across a flat, so the bait was constantly moving....
which is why i say all this buzzers and bait alarms aren't necessary....they certainly work, but your bait can move...
heck, we caught carp on tube jigs, crank baits, hair jigs....they are more aggressive than ya think! also, if you notice, two of those big fish came in Cold weather....when most carp fisherman are sitting at home....they bite year round. I think BBR has caught a carp through the hole ice fishing...
as for the bass in Hamilton Bay... there are none.
