your bait doesn't have to be still to catch carp....
most times our worms are being moved all around bottom...
actually, the big fish from the bay, was caught drifting across a flat, so the bait was constantly moving....
which is why i say all this buzzers and bait alarms aren't necessary....they certainly work, but your bait can move...
heck, we caught carp on tube jigs, crank baits, hair jigs....they are more aggressive than ya think! also, if you notice, two of those big fish came in Cold weather....when most carp fisherman are sitting at home....they bite year round. I think BBR has caught a carp through the hole ice fishing...
as for the bass in Hamilton Bay... there are none.
