If ya think Chewing on a reel is BAD, Picture this... when I picked up my dog(Pit Bull) over 8 years ago. I had noone to watch the dog, nor did I have a crate YET... left her in the basement and she chewed a hole right through the Door
so next time I figured she just didn't like not being able to see, so I closed the gate going to downstairs and she chewed that too
Anyways a crate was on the wanted list for sure after that. I also would like to add that there is nothing wrong with disciplining the dog as long as you catch it in the act.
Cheers,
Rich

kegman, that is horrible (but funny)!!!!
My sister-in-law hand knitted a beautiful Christmas stocking for me with heavy wool and expensive angora...it ended up puppy fodder back when Zeke was just a baby. When he was a puppy and we had to leave for work, we'd come home to find our clothes pulled out of the closets and heaped in a pile on his bed, where he had sucked and chewed on them...
Still, he was the best dog ever...
Labs are awesome.
