Lunkers!!!!

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

Lunkers!!!!

Post by Mike Lennox »

Hey all, did some fishing with big rideau basser, simon and uglystick9. We did very well. Cam(uglystick) started things off with this bucketmouth. I finally brought the scale and camera :P

Image

He got it on a wacky rigged senko. Sorry about the blacked out background...we swore to secrecy on the spot but a clue that is ovious because bass are not open yet and it was not on the ottawa river.

A little competition started and I hooked my PB largemouth :P Great fight on my 5wt flyrod.

Image

Caught it on an olive crystal bugger. If you are wondering why i'm not smiling we have 2 pics and I look much better not smiling than I do smliling like an idiot

Good job on the PB!!You win this time uglystick!! He landed it on a medium action uglystick too it was bent pretty far over!!

Image

a great time and I can't wait to get back there for some more bass.

If you're going to end up vandilizing the picture, why not pick a nice plain background ehwn you first take the picture instead. That black sketching is just foolish.

Keep using the scale you have. A good scale is going to cost you a few dollars. Besides, the one you have is going to make you feel like a champ everytime you use it.

Hey, yungflyfisher, don't listen to any of the negative comments! Nice fish period!!! And the fact that you’re a fly fisherman instead of using 65lb power pro on a heavy stick, good for you!
Keep it up young fella, great to see!

WOW i'm getting a lot of luck lately....caught my first muskie today :D Olive crystal wooly bugger strikes again. Only a baby 2-3 lbs but beautiful colurs and a great fight on my 5 weight. It jumped straight out of the air twice. Also caught 2 small walleye and around 15 small bass. This was on the mississippi river at the galetta dam. Went to take a picture and he slipped out of my hands and into the water. Oh well, a nice rush even though it was just a baby.
