Save the MNR

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

Great work on the link. Been wondering what I could do to help the mnr out lately. Most of the fishing I do is in stocked lakes.

Done: :) I wonder if the figures are available for the amount of dollars collected for fishing licences annually and how they relate to the overall budget of the MNR or at least to re-stocking programs. :? Add into that the taxes collected on fishing supplies and equipment and tax revenue generated in the hospitality trade and then the number of jobs created as a result of fishing and hunting and the tax revenues collected from those jobs. I wonder why we would not want to do everything possible to protect our fisheries and wildlife capacity which in turn will protect all of the related jobs and tax revenues.
