Best reel lube

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

Have you used the stuff Gord? If so would you prefer it over others for ice fishing situations?

Yep....brought a genz reel back to life with it. I cannot compare it to others as it's the only one I've used.

I just read an article in bassin that recommends slick 50 as a reel lube. its the stuff that you put in your engine oil to reduce wear and oil burning.

also i use some good stuff in my paintball gun thats called 'slick honey' or slickoleum. paintball guns get very cold because of the expanding gases. it works very well and a very small amount of it is needed. most times a toothpick tip on each part is good. you can find the stuff at bicycle shops usually.
