Navionics Fish'N Chip?

I recently purchased the Navionics Gold 14XG great lakes chip. Is it worth sending in for the Free Fish N Chip. I know its only US lakes. would the great lakes be coverd? Has anyone mailed in the info from Canada and gotten the software? I dont fish the US but if its free why not. I can always sell it on ebay

This is my first electronic chart software. I can't wait till spring

and Lake Ontario is on it.

1lastcast, that chip does not carry information for inland lakes, mostly covering ocean info., so I was told.

I bought the same card for my Lowrance last year and did get the same chip offer. I sent out and it was at my door in a few weeks. I wasn't sure if it would be of any use to us up here as well, but stopped in at the navionics booth at the boat show and they explained it to me.

Apparently it's only going to benefit us in the Great lakes. It improves the depth markings on the screen offering better and more info. So basically its a bit more accurate to the end user as they put a bit more time into making the contours better on those lakes. So it will benefit you a bit if you fish those areas.

I fish the Bay of Quinte often and sometime fish in and around Lake Ontario out from Kingston.

I never thought to ask the rep about the Bay of Quinte but it should for sure help you out on the main lake. If I see him at the sportsman show in toronto I'll ask him a bit more about it.
