Well, my family and I went up to Cedar Haven park for our annual Canada Day camping trip. Bass opened on Saturday and we couldn't wait to get out there.

I'm not going to get into a long story, since I'm heading to the maritimes in a few hours, but wanted to leave you with this.

Majority of fish we caught were over 3lbs, and then this beauty ate my jig like there was no tomorrow.......

Took me 8 years to get a fish over 5lbs, and on Bass Opener 2008, I scored a 6.0lbs HOG. Made the trip, good times for sure.

Great way to open the season for sure. Can't wait to get out again!

BTW you should know that if you bring Fish-Hawk with you it's gunna rain :lol: :lol:
