As always, a phenominal and inspiring report. Your reports probably do more to help the cause of northern outfitters and guides than all of the sportmens shows and advertising combined. Back in my younger days when I was working as a pilot for various outfitters, the vast majority of our clients were groups of guys who were acting on recommendations from friends. There's nothing like word of mouth and well written reports on sites like this one to bring in the business.

I suspect that most of your readers (me included) are sitting at their computers with woodies, wondering how they are going to convince their wives to let them go on a trip such as yours.

Again, great writing and great photos. Thank you.

Just absolutely beautiful Moose! That place looks like heaven, took my breath away. Those were the biggest Pike and Eyes I've ever seen! If I ever win Lotto I'll give you a call and we're off! Joe.

Now this is the report I'd been waiting for. One to read another incredible report seen through your eyes and two to see how my bud Grant would make out during the Great Adventure. I'm pleased to see his grin in a few pictures. Since he won't answer his email or phone maybe you can tell me if he caught any fish on the big tubes he brought along.

So on a scale of your top five trips of all time where did this trip rank amongst those adventures? I'm very curious! I can't imagine catching Walleye like you did that would eat the ones I'm used to catching and Pike that would eat anything that I'm used to catching.

Going back through the pictures again I'm really impressed with some of the deep and warm colors in many of them. Were any of these pics taken really late in the night? The lighting is awesome!

And lastly, did you tire Grant out so thoroughly or is he just going through withdrawals?

I'm very happy to hear the trip went so well and fun was had by all. Excellent read as always Bunk.

Don't think Grant used the tubes too much. And the pics weren't ever taken very late. Some dusk shots sure but nothing too late. Because of the constant weather changes and clouds in and out I sometimes caught a light that I like. I've been using the same brand of cameras being sure they have the same kind of lens, and been doing so for about 3 years now. Take a tonne of photos and know what the end product will be when I click the button then later get finished with them in the darkroom.

This trip was definitely a good one. I've had a tonne of those and I couldn't put it anywhere honestly, I don't think I have a stand-out best trip or top five.. It was certainly nice to make my return to the Attawapiskat for a fish... something I planned to do when I left. I've got 4 weeks here at home to prepare for a combo trip that will see me fishing about 17 days in two of Canada's finest char waters. Maybe that'll be in the top five.
