Stupid Question ?

Post by xcal »

This is probably a stupid question, but where do you get distilled water to top up your batteries. I know it is not recommended to use tapwater, but am not sure where to get distilled water.

Thanks guys. Wasn't sure if the distilled water sold in grocery stores was good enough. Someone told me that the distilled water you need for batteries was different. Now I know.

I was at the Staples on Ogilvie Rd. earlier today.

There is a store/kiosk that sells distilled water for $4 per 5 gallons. It's open 24 hours.

Picked up some for my batteries this summer at the Mr Gas on Trim Rd just up from Petrie. There's a filtered water outlet there.
