I'm leaving Fish-hawk....

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

I'm leaving Fish-hawk....

Post by fatluke »

..................next Thursday night......for a day of lake hoping in a beaver.....in search of MONSTER specs...(not expecting a bigger one than BA's though)....and then a 7 day stay at a fly-in lodge........ I will not have internet access and really hope there are no threads deleted while I am away.... I will miss fish hawk at crunch time, that's for sure..............

But before I leave...........
Does anyone have any tips for early season Lakers and Pike of Northern Ontario (Foleyet)?

OH.......and when I return....... I will be posting pictures of smallies.....as they will not be OOS where I'm heading.......

Thanks in advance to anyone who replies...... and I may as well say thanks in advance to anyone who decides to hijack my thread.

Cheers!

early pike you say...

dont be afraid to fish the flats..... sandy flats... close to shore.

i strongly suggest you bring some buck tail spinner baits...

big swim baits are usualy a killer to for ealry pike.

i hope you get a true northern pike. 20 +

good luck fatluke

The only tips I have are, have a blast, take lotsa photos of your adventure and make sure you don't run out of beer

I don't think you'll have a problem with finding your targets up shallow. Hope you have great weather and a safe flight in and outta there.

Thanks for the Crown Royal smoked Crappie candy man

Luke I am really looking forward to this report when you get back. I really would like to trade lives with you for awhile. Also I think you should just take your name Captain Crunch.
