got out on my detrouit river this morning with a friend. fishing was slow. mannaged a littel smallie on the 3rd cast on my fav crank then nothing for a bit. mannaged a decent largemouth on a spinnerbait then again nothing. most of my hotspots were failing me until our last drift ouver one of my smallie hunting grounds with my fav crank again and bang.... BIG BASS,,,,, or wait y aint he comming up? headshake? mayb a pike.... hope so..... nope.... MUSKY!!!! finally lol. only had to stop trying for them and i get my first. nothing big only about 30inch but dont matter. thrilled headed in for lunch. cant wait to get out again.
