Me and the Missus on the Miss! Bass Report..

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

Nice bass for sure.

That fish your wife caught is a real brute Image I'm sure she's not going to remind you of who has the biggest fish of the year.

Thanks for the report and pics,

It was a big fish! The pics do not do it justice at all.....
I am VERY proud of her! Normally she either gets skunked or catches little guys....not today!

Well you are not alone missing Largies on the frog. Sometimes It's almost as much fun seeing em hit as hooking them. Not quite but almost

Way to go bro !
Nice bass there, for sure . . .especially the one your wife got - what a brute

Was hoping to hook into some BIG BASS last night on the MAD, but all I caught was pike..... :)

Fun report and those are all very good largemouth. Must have been a thrill for your wife to get that fatty on topwater.

HAHAHA!!! Yes!

Funnily both fish were almost similar in size...I think hers was 3/4" fatter and 1/2 longer in reality....

Just her being so tiny it looks that much bigger....

I was out earlier and fished that spot. Those 2 beasities WERE not there...
But plenty of others. When that cold hit it DIED almost instantly out there!

I caught that nice bass on my Zara Spook.. I had a blast with topwater that night.

Actually, later on in the evening, I was doing a slow walk-the-dog.. and this big pike, I didnt get a good look at it, but it was pretty decent pike for the Miss.

But this pike, leaps out of the water, about half a foot away from my lure, and than sinks back under the water.. that was soo cool to see. It has happened a few times to me with spooks.
